Two wines labeled “Cru Bourgeois” for the 2008 Vintage Though dating back to the 15th century, the “Cru Bourgeois” denomination has been reborn and revived for 2010 wines of the Médoc region. The new process for qualifying for this denomination is tedious and the new rules that are applied to be awarded the prestigious title or label of ”Cru Bourgeois” are stringent. With tremendous pride, Château d’Arsac and Mr. Raoux are happy to announce that Châteaux d’Arsac has been attributed this “Cru Bourgeois” denomination for 2 of its wines: The Château d’Arsac 2008 – AOC Margaux and the Château Le Monteil d’Arsac 2008 – AOC Haut- Médoc. This prestigious label is nonetheless a true sign of Mr. Raoux ‘s engagement to quality and Châteaux d’Arsac’s team commitment to excellence.

Château d’Arsac celebrates its 25th anniversary since renovating with Fire Jump Château d’Arsac has just recently acquired a new art sculpture for its Garden of the Sculptures. The piece, named Fire Jump, was created by New York’s talented artist Mark di Suvero . Invited by Mr. Raoux the 29th of June for Château d’Arsac’s 25th year celebration, Mark was present to inaugurate his art piece to all who attended. With Fire Jump, Mark di Suvero associates industrial materials such as stainless steel and raw steel to interrogate movement and solid standing form. A free hanging mobile flame, which spins by itself in the wind, questions movement as the rest of the structure suggests solidity and standing form.
